Robert W. Dangl age 81 of Kentwood passed away May 15 2012. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Peggy; children William (Jackie) Dangl of Ada Jill Dangl West of Kentwood; grandchildren Bradley (Lindsay), Ryan (Autumn) Dangl Lexi West; brother Gerald L. (Evelyn) Dangl of Redding CA; sister Barbara A. (James) Huebner of Redding CA. He was a 1953 graduate of Michigan State University where he played 4 years of varsity baseball. He served in the Army from 1954 to 1956. Robert taught and was an assistant principal in the Forest Hills School District for 30 years. Robert was a beloved husband father grandfather and friend. He touched many lives in his years in public education coaching and community service. He will be greatly missed! Private graveside services have been held.
