Robert Wyn Jones, “Bob” age 53, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. John and Betty Jones. Bob is survived by his beloved wife Liz and adored children; daughters Sara Jones, Jessica Jones, their mother Carol Jones-Adams; son, John Jones, and his mother Diane Jones; brothers David (Cathy) Jones, Paul (Cherie) Jones; parents-in-law Darryl and Margaret Robbins; also nieces, nephews and cousins. Private services will be held. Bob was native to West Michigan and the youngest of three brothers, his dearest friends. From a young age he had a passion for aviation and became a flight instructor while still in high school. Bob was a nature lover and shared many good times hunting and fishing with his closest friends. He was an exceptional father, who was kind-hearted caring and close to all three of his children. Bob was a man whom everyone loved; considerate, thoughtful, and a mentor to many. He had a unique sense of humor and always put others first. He will be remembered with great love. Private services will be held. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be Thursday 3-5:00 p.m. at Watermark Country Club, 5500 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids.
