MANGUS – Mr. Ronald Frank Mangus age 79 of Grand Rapids died peacefully at his home on July 14 2009. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Nancy of 56 years; son Tony (Kim) Mangus; daughters Donna (Vaughn) Shade Carol (Robin) Dana and Mary Ann (Andy) Dietrich; his grandchildren Christopher Matthew Kevin Mangus; Nicole Rachel Robin Dana; Josh Liz Stephanie Natalie Dietrich; brother Peter (Rosemary) Mangus; sister Marie Waldron. Ron served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Bissell Inc. in 1992 after 37 years of service. He was an avid golfer and member of Elks Highland Golf Course for 24 years a lifetime Elk member and a charter member of IHM Parish. A special thanks to Elders Helpers Angel Care Caretree Spectrum Health Hospice family and friends for their care and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Plymouth & Burton SE Rev. Fr. Troy Nevins presiding. Visitation 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.
