Ronald Jay Geldersma, age 61 of Lowell, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Ron was surrounded by his family and friends in the final moments. He’s preceded in death by his father, brother, and step dad. Ronald is survived by his wife, Diane of 27 years; children, Eva (Derek) Jones, Samantha (Corey) Tart, and Amber Geldersma; grandchildren, Liam and Ellie Jones, and Harper Tart; his mother, Mary Ann Geldersma; sister, Karen (Dave) Wenzler; brother, Paul Geldersma; and several nieces and nephews. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and hunting with his step dad and brothers, he also loved camping and traveling north with family and friends. Ronald was known for his hard work and dedication working for Stedfast Construction for 36 years. His commentary will be missed by many. Per Ron’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life is scheduled for August 4th, 2019 at Fallasburg Park Section C-3 by the covered bridge, Lowell, MI 49331 from 3-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Ron’s name to Faith Hospice.

  4. To the 2 most Awesome people I know. When Ron came into Diane’s life it truly was magical. He was the best husband father and friend. He showed others compassion and respect Lived life with a passion for his family Not only in his life did he share a celebration for family and friends but in passing he choose to also. I pray others will take all he has given and pay it forward in his memory May Gods Grace, Love and Peace surround Rons family ♥️
