Ruth E. Haan, age 65 of Lowell, went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Rick; children, Heather (David) Held, Heidi (Tom) Smith; grandchildren, Daniel, Grayson, Michael, Isabelle, John; siblings, Jerry (Sandy) Bolt, Dick (Jacque) Bolt, Tom Bolt, Jack (Lynne) Bolt, Andy Doezema, Carl (Margie) Bolt; brothers-in-law, Doug (Sally) Haan, Ken (Lori) Haan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Ida Bolt; mother and father-in-law, Dan and Beverly Haan; brothers, Bob and Don Bolt; sister, Barb Doezema; and sisters-in-law, Cher and Dar Bolt. Ruth was a devoted wife, loving mother, and amazing grandmother of 5. She enjoyed golfing, camping, playing cards for hours, and making her world-famous desserts like banket and snickers cheesecake! Ruth was a faithful servant and showed her love for God everyday by volunteering her time and talents to her church and community. She spent 45 years working for D&W and drove the school bus for Ada Christian for many years as well. Visitation will be held, 5-8 PM, Friday, August 26, 2022, at Calvary Christian Reformed Church of Lowell, 1151 W. Main St., Lowell, MI 49331. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the church. Jacque Bolt officiating.
