  1. We both remember Scott so well from class and from the Boy’s Golf Team. We are so saddened by this loss too young and too early in life. Our thoughts are with you from South Carolina. Hugs and blessings from us.

  2. Scott was a good friend and helped us with many building projects at home and at the sawmill. He loved kitties and often brought treats to ours. Treated me to a bottle of wine that his friend had made….He built a cute front porch on to our house, and I believe his last full polebarn project was ours. He often commented that this would be his last polebarn project, as he was not feeling “up-to-par”. Little did we know how true that was. He will be missed by many.

  3. Scott and I first met at Erb Lumber in Lowell in March of 1992 and then again back working together at Standard Lumber in Grand Rapids. He was a good friend and would do anything for anybody he will be missed by a whole lot of people who he was friends with threw the year’s!!

  4. We will miss Scott and offer our condolences to his family. Scott graduated with Bill in 1981, and enjoyed the many years working with him at our local lumber yard. We will always remember him as a kind and caring person.

  5. May you find comfort in knowing we are thinking of you. I will never forget your son/father. A very special person from the class of 1981, to the many who knew him. We will miss you, Barn.

  6. I went to school with Scott. He was always so happy and a funny guy. So sorry for your loss, especially at such a young age. My prayers go out to his family. May God bless and keep them as they go forth in their grieving and healing.
