Sharon Lynn Schnipke, age 50 of Lowell, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis (Gus) Schnipke; her partner, Renee Grant; brother-in-law, Jeff Timpson and her grandparents Schnipke and Schichtel. Sharon will live forever in the hearts of her mother, Rosemary; sister, Michelle Timpson; brother, Steven & Katie Schnipke; nieces, Tricia Rose and Jordyn. The family would like to thank her caregivers Lynn Wolbers and Lan Hamilton who watched over Sharon after Renee Grant passed away December 8, 2014. Her other long-time friends Renee Lang & the Bagnall-Fausone family were also much appreciated. Sharon attended Kenowa Hills & Davenport College. She worked at Farmers Insurance Co. for 30 years and cherished her many friends there. Per Sharon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday, December 26th at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell MI, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a scripture service at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, December 27th at St. Mary Catholic Church, 402 Amity St., Lowell at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Hudson, Lowell MI 49331, where Sharon volunteered or St. Mary Catholic Church in Lowell, where Sharon was a member.
