Steven Alan Kuzawa, age 64, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Bethel Kuzawa. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Maureen; children, Sara and Joseph; sisters, Nancy (Jack) Vasell, Mary (Jack) Boman; brothers, Rick Kuzawa, Ray Kuzawa; father-in-law, Rupert McGinn; many nieces and nephews; and faithful companion, Radar. Steven was a devoted husband, father and brother and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Visitation Tuesday, June 5, 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids. A Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, June 6, 11:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2750 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids. Father Peter Damian presiding. We are so sorry to hear this very sad news. Steve was a down to earth, friendly all-around great guy. We hope the love from your family will comfort you and give you strength in the days ahead.

Maureen, Sara, and Joe,
You all have my deepest condolences. My strongest memory of Steve is how sincerely happy he was driving his boat around the lake and the authentic joy in his laugh. He was always so unfailingly kind, and the world was better because of his presense.
I wish you all the peace and comfort possible through this.
