Susan Marie Wurl, age 78 of Rockford, passed away October 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Steven & Mary Kuhtic; parents-in-law, Otto & Carolyn Wurl; sons, Steven Anthony (LeAnn) Wurl, and David Edward Wurl; brother, Phillip (Jan) Kuhtic. Susan is survived by her husband, David Anthony Wurl; children, Michelle Katherine (David) Wieber, Cynthia Louise Szotko, Scott Douglas (Tamara) Wurl, Daniel Allen Wurl; grandchildren, Justin C. Wieber, Trevor J. Wieber, Derek J. Wieber, Anthony S. (Amber) Wurl, Bethany L.
(Scott) Carelli, Ellen M. Wurl, Lucas R. Szotko, Wyatt S. Huyge, Zachary S. Wurl, Gabrielle G. Wurl, Sophia J. Wurl; great-grandchildren, Esther and Joseph Wurl; brother Milan (Suzanne) Kuhtic; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Sue graduated from Wayland High School. She owned and operated Ada Bridal Shop for over 20 years and was a very gifted seamstress. Her passion for creating and sewing was so great, she often made dresses for her granddaughters and costumes for her kids and grandkids. Sue also taught CCD classes at St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Church for a number of years. Sue enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her friends and family. She also loved bowling, golfing, boating, and motorcycle trips with her husband, David. Above all, Sue cherished her family and treasured the time spent with those she loved dearly. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at St. Robert of Newminster Parish, 6477 Ada Dr SE, Ada, MI 49301, with visitation held one hour prior. Interment Ada Cemetery. Your loss is deeply felt, may God give you all peace knowing Sue is with our Lord. Sue was always my favorite cousin, I remember wanting to be beautiful like she was when I was growing up. I always looked forward to seeing her and Dave. My love to you all.❤️
