Teresa Ann Scherer

Teresa Ann Scherer, age 62 of Comstock Park, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 18, 2022, at her home quickly. She was preceded in death by her father, James Sherman. Teresa is survived by her husband of 27 years, Robert “Bob” Scherer; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica (Benjamin) Lehew; grandchildren, Aiva, Zoie, Miya, Lincoln; mother, Joan Sherman; mother-in-law, Esther Scherer; brother, Brian (Ester) Sherman; one niece, and two nephews; brothers-in-law, Scott (Sue) Gardner, Brad (Val) Gardner, Tim (Shawn) Gardner; sisters-in-law, Judy Frank, Connie (Norm) VanKampen; and several nieces and nephews. Teresa Scherer worked at Old Orchard Apartments for many years. She married Robert Scherer in 1995 and moved to Comstock Park, MI. where she passed away quickly of unknown causes. Teresa was an active member in Pilgrim Bible Church in Cedar Springs, MI and loved to participate in potlucks. She loved her daughter Jessica and her grandchildren deeply. Almost like she lived for her grandchildren. She loved her dog as a second child. Her and her husband traveled for many years selling at flea markets and shows. She will be remembered for her kind heart, generosity of spirit, and warm hugs. Visitation will take place Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 11-1pm at Pilgrim Bible Church, 361 W Pine St NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319 with funeral service at 1pm. Rev. David Ward officiating along with Rev. Benjamin Lehew and Rev. Knox Bullock. Burial service will be Wednesday at the East Jordan Cemetery.
