Terry B. Smith, age 66, of Lowell MI, passed away peacefully Jan. 2. Terry was born Nov. 30, 1949, the son of Elmer and Ethel Smith. He was a Lowell grad in the class of 1968. Terry enjoyed football and was voted MVP his senior year. He continued to follow the Lowell Red Arrows sport programs and was honored at the Lowell Pink Arrow game. He was a fan of MSU and loved going to the games with his daughter Jody. He shared his love of sports with his grandson Jason and adored his beautiful granddaughter Lisa. He was a dedicated farmer with his father, brother Randy and latter Son Tom and grandson Jacob. When he retired from farming he continued to advise on the family farm and kept tabs on neighboring farmers, helping out whenever he could. Terry had a great sense of humor that was appreciated by many. He was preceded in death by his father Elmer. Terry is survived by his wife Joice of 47 years; Children Tom Smith, Jody (WJ) Price Grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Jason and Lisa Price; Mother, Ethel Smith and siblings; Ray (Sue) Smith, Marie (Bill) Atwell, Randy (Bea) Smith, Cindy (Pat) Brenk, Sheila (Tom) Barton. Terry was also close to his wife’s siblings; Sheila (Phil) Pachulski, Doug Olin, Debbie (Greg) Bush, Susan (Rick) Kempton, Dean (Sue) Olin. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family at the Alto Methodist Church, 11365 64th St SE, Alto, MI 49302, Wednesday, Jan 6th from 6-8 PM and 1 hour prior to the service.
