Thelma Estes Bishop, age 99 of Cascade and Anna Maria Island, FL, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Spectrum Hospital after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Mahlon Estes and second husband, Donald Bishop; and eldest son, Terry. She is survived by her son, Brian (Lynne) Estes of Cascade; daughter, Karen Franchi of Cascade, Leann Kenney of Bradenton, FL; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Thelma was a member of Cascade Christian Church. As per her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Cascade Christian Church, 2798 Orange Ave. S.E., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
