Ursula Elsie (Groitzsch) Hill, age 88, of Ada, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2012 at Heartland Health Care Center. She was born in Meuselwitz, Germany on June 5, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bud; her parents, Oskar and Elsie Groitzsch of Hancock, Mi; her brother, Werner O. Groitzsch of Honolulu, HI and her sisters, Ruth Peterson and Ann Nault of Hancock, Houghton, Mi. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Fay Groitzsch of Bruce Crossing, Mi; her children, Gerald Hill of Caledonia, Mi, Gary and Linda Hunt of Ada, MI and Steven Hill of Lowell, MI; her grandchildren, Darin and Katie Hunt of Grandville, MI, Stephanie Hunt of Grand Rapids, MI and many nieces and nephews. Ursula was a retiree of Amway Corporation. She loved being a homemaker, reading, cooking and baking. She made the best apple pie that you ever tasted. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private memorial service at a later date. The family would like to thank Heartland and Hospice of Michigan for taking such good care of mom.
