Vincent P. OConnor aged 91 of Grand Rapids died at home April 9 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Eunice and his daughter Carolyn Adams. He is survived by his children Reginald (Barb) Cumming Constance (William) Aldridge Cynthia (Dirk) Wiering Timothy (Kari) OConnor Mary (David) Nicholson; 3 sisters 2 brothers and many grandchildren. Vince served in the US Navy during World War II. He retired from Graybar Electric after working there over 40 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church 1935 Plymouth Ave. SE Rev. Troy Nevins presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. The family will meet friends one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Killgoar Foundation 1935 Plymouth Ave. SE Grand Rapids MI 49506.
