KIMBLE – Virgil D. Red Kimble aged 91 of Cascade Township went to be with the Lord Saturday January 9 2010. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Ella; six children one brother; several grandchildren great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. Red was a member of the Marine Corps during World War II and received the Silver Star and Purple Heart. He loved playing music the guitar and was a member of the Singin Strings Band. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM at Cascade Christian Church Chapel Orange Street SE Rev. Raymond Gaylord and Pastor Jill Forton officiating. Interment Cascade Cemetery. Visitation 3-5 PM and 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.
