Virginia Ruth Wingeier, age 92, of Belding, went to be with her Lord Friday, November 9, 2012. She was born on July 7, 1920 in Ionia, Michigan to Clarence and Lena Possehn. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vern; son, Stanley Wingeier; brothers, LaVerne and Gordon Possehn; her infant brother, Arden and infant sister, Verna Marie. She is survived by her sons, Roger and Rodney Wingeier; sister, Norma Jean (Jack) Staal; grandchildren, Rick (Diana) Wingeier, Brad Wingeier; Brandy (Matt) Arrol, and Shannon Wingeier; three great grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Alton Bible Church, 2780 Lincoln Lake Road, Lowell, MI 49331. Pastor Ken Ford officiating. Interment Alton Cemetery. The family will meet with friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alton Cemetery Association, 2780 Lincoln Lake Road, Lowell, MI 49331.
