VIZBULITE BOLE “VICKI”, age 80 of Grand Rapids, born in Iecava, Latvia, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Janis and Milda Bredikis; and husband Visvaldis Bole. She is survived by her children Janis “John” (special friend Laura Ohman) Bole, Mara (Roger) Colman, Erik (Sarah) Bole; grandchildren Katya Colman, Johnny Bole; sisters Inta (Egons) Everss, Lilita Peterson, Ruta Buckingham, Ilze Abbott; brother Janis “John” (Holli) Bredikis; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Latvia. Vicki came to America as a young child first residing in Lincoln, Nebraska. She graduated from Grand Rapids Central High School. She worked for many years at Sheldon Cleaners. Every customer was special to Vicki and she treated them like family. Vicki was an active member of the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who in return was loved by all who knew her. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, November 5, 11:00 a.m. at the Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1780 Knapp St. N.E., Grand Rapids. Rev. Ilze Larsen officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church.
