William (Bill) James Rawlings passed away on the evening of Jan 14th, 2023, at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Jean Hibbard, his daughters Courtney Brown (Kris) and Hillary Wright (Jeremy) and his grandchildren Eleanor and Oliver, As well as many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Beulah Rawlings and his sister Jeanne Wadaga.
William was a proud graduate of Wyoming Lee High School. He attended Michigan State prior to enlisting in the Marine Corps and serving in the Vietnam War with the rank of Sgt.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 19, 2023, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 with a private burial service.
