Yole Mary (Minciotti) Campbell passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her family on January 25, 2022. Born in the hills of West Virginia to Italian immigrants, Yole was a simple girl who loved her family and her Lord. She met Chum, her husband of 69 years, at a high school hayride and they were married during WWII. They were blessed with 5 children, 17 grandchildren, “her angels” and 27 great-grandchildren, “her chickadees.”

Yole devoted countless hours to Right to Life, Tuesday Morning Prayer Group, First Friday group, Divine Mercy Cenacle, and daily Mass. She enjoyed golf at Cascade Hills Country Club, summers at Gun Lake and vacations around the world.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Campbell; son, Dennis Campbell; parents, Achille and Enrica Minciotti; sister, Ada Santoski; and brother, Albert Minciotti. She is survived by her family – Therese Campbell, Karen Deckrow, Kenneth (Jim) and Gloria Campbell, Steven Campbell and Patricia Morway, and Elizabeth (Betsy) & Brian Pangle. Her family wishes to thank Beacon Hill for the warm welcome and her 11 great years there, along with Emmanuel Hospice for the wonderful care and love they showered upon her.

Rosary services will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, with visitation following from 10-11 am, and Mass of Christian Burial starting at 11 am. Rev. Troy Nevins presiding. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.

  1. Yole has been among my dearest friends for many years. She was my wonderful neighbor, my prayer group and Cenacle of Divine Mercy sister, and lastly my dinner partner and rosary companion at Beacon Hill. She will always be remembered for her colorful and stylish way of dressing and coordinating her outfits. Her deep faith, her smile, friendly nature, and inclusiion of everyone will remain etched in our minds and hearts always. REST IN PEACE, DEAR ONE. Mary Passinault
