LEE – Yvonne M. Lee age 91 of Cascade passed away on January 3 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Howard H. Lee and son Dan H. Lee. The daughter of inventor Lewis A. Sperry and the granddaughter of the 19th century furniture magnate Elijah Haney founder of the international company the Haney School Furniture Company. During World War II Yvonne operated with her mother Flora Sperry Flora Ann Toys in downtown Grand Rapids. An antiques dealer for over 30 years Yvonne collected dolls and for 8 years appraised dolls for Jacobsons annual doll show. She opened one of the first antique shops in the Rockford area in 1972 and she also operated an antique shop in Saugatuck. For many years Yvonne was known as the doll lady. Yvonne was a lifelong member of St. Pauls Episcopal Church. She leaves behind her beloved son Tom Lee and daughter-in-law Pamela Lee; grandchildren Victoria Jordan Robert and Cameron. Funeral services will be at at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd SE Rev. John English officiating. Interment Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation 6-8 PM.
