Scott Alvin Trapp, age 60 of Grand Rapids, was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. He is survived by his best friend and love of his life, for 37 years, his wife Jeri Lynn; children, Clinton (Deanna), Clayton (Sara), Courtney (Gabriel) Johnson; cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth, Abigail, Joshua, Annabelle, Benjamin, and Ryan; brothers, Doug (Cindy), Terry, Randy (Patty), Russ (Colleen); brother-in-law, Bob; dear nieces and nephews; grand nieces and grand nephews; aunt and cousins; and a multitude of treasured friends. We will miss his smile. Scott was truly an inspiration throughout his entire life. His courage and faith had a profound effect on all who knew and loved him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 2nd , 10:00 a.m. at St Robert of Newminster, 6477 Ada Drive, Ada. Visitation Friday 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Road, Grand Rapids.
