Andrew (Drew) Van Belkum 52, passed away August 2, 2021. He is now running and leaping and praising God, freed from all the earthly hindrances of Muscular Dystrophy! His heavenly welcome includes his father, LCDR George Van Belkum USCG and many other dear loved ones. He leaves behind his mother Maryellen Van Belkum (Post), sister Kathleen Van Belkum MD, many aunts, uncles, cousins and family friend Lyle Verrill as well as many other friends far and wide over the internet and Facebook. A special thank you and blessing to his nurses, who always went above and beyond in their faithful care all these many years. Drew loved his computer and his TV. He also was known for his love of all things Coca Cola and his admiration for President Trump. He loved humor, fun, and competition. His wit always amazed us. His lasting legacy will be his love for our Lord Jesus Christ.
