Anne Taylor Cain, aged 83 of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2012, outside of Grand Rapids. She is survived by her brother Ben (Amy Jane) Taylor of Suttons Bay; sons Jonathan (Michele) Cain of Alexandria, Virginia and Matthew (Brenda) Cain of Grand Rapids; and three grandchildren. Anne had many interests and an active thirst for knowledge. She carried on the family’s special regard for nature and supported several wildlife charities. Anne will rest in Leelanau County, a place she loved throughout her lifetime. Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Nature Conservancy or Sierra Club.
