Betty Ann LeRoy, age 91 of Grand Rapids, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia LeRoy. Born September 9, 1923 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Harry and Ann (Brennan) Glunz. She was an employee of Detroit Bank. In 1945 she married Theodore J. “Jim” LeRoy and together they raised three children, Nancy (Brian) Malone of Ann Arbor, James (Mary) of Cincinnati, OH, and Lawrence (Nancy) of Knoxville, TN, who survive her. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Neblett of Novi, MI; grandchildren, Dawn, Bridget, Timothy and Elizabeth, Kevin and Briana. Betty was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and School, Girls Scouts and St. Mary’s Hospital Guilds. The family wishes to thank the friends and staff at the Village at Heather Hills for their care and concern over the last eight years. And the members of the Faith Hospice team for their guidance and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Church, 6477 Ada Dr., Ada. Rev. Leonard Sudlik presiding. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-6:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 5:45 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd.
