Betty Elaine Hamp, age 86 of Lowell, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Daryl. She is survived by her children, Len (Linda) Hamp, Randy (Mary) Hamp; grandchildren, Tina (Rich) Brown, Denny Hamp, Heather Stormzand, Mark (Angela) Hamp, Jessica Hamp; also many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Betty, or “Grandma Kitty” as she was lovingly referred to as, was an avid painter, and lover of birds and her cats. Betty’s family would like to extend special thanks to the comforting support of the staff and residents of Laurels of Kent. A graveside service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Alton Cemetery, Lincoln Lake and Three Mile, Lowell. Visitation Tuesday 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N.
