Bryant Edward Zimmerman

Bryant Edward Zimmerman, age 48 of Grand Rapids, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Aaron “Son” Zimmerman; and aunt, Margaret Hollister. Bryant is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, Jayna (Michael) Hambrick, Aaron, Ryan, Annalyse; grandson, Connor Hambrick; parents, Edward “Bud” & Wanda Zimmerman; parents-in-law, Randy & Gloria Dennis; brother, Eli (Lisa) Zimmerman; sisters, Jolyn (Sean) Safron, Yolanda (Jack) Shafer, Alyce Zimmerman; brother’s & sister’s-in-law, Jeff & Christa Williams, Ken & Lindsey Jeffers; nieces & nephews, Mira & Julia Safron, Taylor Zimmerman (Zach Lorenzen), Kyle, Jared, & Elaina Shafer, and Kenny and Paul Jeffers. Bryant graduated from Hastings High School and went on to attend ITT Technical Institute. He was the owner of ZK Tech Inc, and Grand Dial Communications, which sponsored Grand Rapids’ First Lego League Tournament. Bryant was active in the community and gave his time to many different organizations including, WMNT User Group, Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman’s Club, Landmark Education, Ambucks, First Lego League, St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Veteran’s Chow Hall, and Golden Leads Referral Group. He enjoyed building Legos, visiting the shooting range, and watching movies. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49546. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1449 Wilcox Park Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506. Rev. James Chelich presiding. Bryant’s favorite color was orange, so in honor of him please wear something orange. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
