Catherine Pearl Wilder, age 75 of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband John Wilder Sr. in 1990, sister-in-law Joy French and brother-in-law Butch Pickell. Catherine is survived by children John Jr. (Karen) Wilder, Sam (Etta) Wilder, Jessie (William) Warren and Quinton VanKooten; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; brothers Robert (Apple) Geise, James French and sister Marge Pickell; brother-in-law Max Wilder; sister-in-law Fay Nibett; also many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Friday 11:30 at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kent County Humane Society, 3077 Wilson NW, Grand Rapids MI 49534.
