Charlotte R. McFarland

Charlotte R. McFarland, age 91 of Cascade, died Friday, July 30, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband Donald G. McFarland; daughter, Barbara Dirkse; sister, Beverly McMullen.  She is survived by her daughter, Janet E. (Tom Stoloski) McFarland and Deborah J. McFarland; grandchildren, Heather (Brandon) Camp, Maria Lindquist, John Lindquist, Christopher Doran; great-granddaughter, Emery Tughan; sister, Elizabeth Kirk.  Charlotte taught at Ada Elementary School for many years.   She enjoyed RVing in Pentwater and Florida.  Charlotte loved her “lunch bunch” friends.  She loved her family and was known for her handwritten Christmas and birthday cards which she sent to hundreds of family and friends.  Visitation will be Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Genesis United Methodist Church (Snow United Methodist Church) 3189 Snow Ave. SE. Lowell.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM at the church, Pastor Tommy Boutell, officiating.  Interment Snow Avenue Cemetery.
