Clara Alice King, age 78 of Lowell, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, January 15, 2020. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ann King. Clara is survived by her husband Richard King; children, James (Evelyn Garvey) Vandenboss, Dave Vandenboss, Steve Vandenboss, Nancy (Roger) Whip; and granddaughter, Michelle (Cody Cook) Vandenboss. She was a devoted member of the Lowell United Methodist Church who loved puzzles, reading scripture and traveling. Clara was a Lowell native, who moved back in the 90s reacquainting her with not only the town but several friends and acquaintances. She enjoyed socializing at the dozens of events that she attended through church and with the different senior organizations around Lowell. Visitation will be Friday, January 24, 2-4 pm at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 25, at Lowell United Methodist Church, 621 E Main St, Lowell, MI 49331 with a visitation one hour prior. Rev. Brad Brillhart officiating.
