Donald “Don” Bergy, age 88 of Lowell, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023. He was preceded in death by his son, Mike Bergy. Don is survived by his wife, Sondra Bergy; children, Tim (Alana Valentine) Bergy, Tom (Tammy) Bergy; daughter-in-law, Susan (Jay) Block; grandchildren, Travis, Kari, Dakota, Montana, Blake; great-grandchildren, Wesley and Lyla; brothers, Dale (Cindy) Bergy; sister, Lois Bergy; several nieces and nephews. He served in the United States Army as Military Police. After serving his country he came home to run the family dairy farm in Lowell until he retired. Don and Sondra enjoyed wintering in Florida together and spending time with their grandkids. His hobbies included woodworking, golf, fishing, and he was active within the Lions Club and 4-H. The family would like to give a special thanks to Karis, Rita, and the entire staff of Faith Hospice for their care and compassion. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson Lowell, MI 49331. Funeral services will take place at 11 am on Monday, May 1, 2023, at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Nancy Patera officiating.   8. I am so sorry but can see Don walking straight and tall without pain, Visiting and laughing with his heavenly family and friends. He will truly be missed and a void in his family but will be looking down from his beautiful heavenly home.

  13. Sorry for your loss Sonie & Family, Don was a Wonderful Person alway’s enjoyed visiting with him at our Card Party’s your what ever time would see him. Bob also thought a lot of Don & his wisdom in so many thing’s, will be missed by so many people who knew him, I know I will. SENDING HUGS, LOVE & PRAYER’S YOUR WAY. ( I won’t be able to attend have Radiation Therapy that Day, & stay away from crowd`s. )
    ( Thank’s for attending Bob’s Visitation was so good to see you both, I started Radiation and Chemotherapy shortly after) Take Care Sonie.
