BATEY NORTON – Doris Batey Norton age 69 a life time resident of Lowell passed away November 30 2008. She is survived by her husband Charlie; children Linda (Mel) Miller of Kentwood Jack (Rae) Batey of Fremont Norma (Steve) Sawdy of Belding; step children Gordon (Cindy) Batey of Greenville Beth (Chris) Fowler of Burleson TX Chuck Norton of Arlington TX Rex Norton of Sturgis MI Larry Norton of Arlington TX; brother David (Mary) Kiste of Kalamazoo MI; sister Jean (Don) Irwin of Lowell; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren half brothers and sisters nieces nephews brothers and sisters-in-law. She worked for Amway for 27 years. Funeral Service will be at Roth-Gerst Funeral Chapel 305 N. Hudson December 4 at 11 a.m., Rev. Eugene Okoli of St. Mary Catholic Church of Lowell officiating. Visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Batey-Norton family.
