Dorothy Ann Walling, age 78 of Lowell, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Walling Jr.; granddaughter, Sheila Walling; parents, Arthur & Augusta Bruinekool; brothers, Elliot Bruinekool, David Bruinekool, Kenneth Bruinekool, and Dennis Bruinekool. Dorothy is survived by her son, Roger (Teresa) Walling; daughter-in-law, Sue Walling; grandchildren, Brandon Walling, Brad Walling, Justin Walling, Jason Walling; great-grandchildren, Ava, Oralia, Landon; brothers, Jerry (Roberta) Bruinekool, Lee (Barbara) Bruinekool; sisters, Betty Smith, Shirley Carlson; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Bruinekool, Patricia Bruinekool, Francis Walling; brother-in-law, Robert Lucas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dorothy was a dedicated employee at Amway for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing Big Fish game online, crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. Dorothy also loved frozen yogurt, but most of all loved spending time with her family. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, December 31, 2021, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331 with visitation one-hour prior. Pastor Brad Brillhart, officiating.
