Elizabeth Anne (Betsy) White, age 74, of Cascade (formerly Muskegon), Michigan, passed away on May 16, 2023, following a valiant fight with ALS. Betsy graduated from Reeths-Puffer High School and Western Michigan University. Among her studies she found teaching and theater of great interest. Her working career spanned many years and included managing retail office supply and furniture sales operations and eventually transitioning to the business of commercial property management. In her free time, she maintained an active lifestyle enjoying gardening, boating, biking, golfing, skiing, and vacation travel. Betsy always had time for family and friends and enjoyed the experience of fishing alongside her husband even when the fish weren’t biting. Betsy was always available to help others with their issues and saw and respected the inherent value in all people. As ALS progressed and her mobility diminished, she kept her mind active as best she could with computer games, puzzles, and game shows. Betsy was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Trenter, and her mother, Betty Trenter. She is survived by her husband, Wesley J. White; brother, Thomas Trenter, Jr. (Mary Jo); sister, Barbara Trenter; and niece, Samantha Trenter.
