WILSON – Eugenia Harding McLaughlin Wilson 96 was born on November 10 1911 and passed away peacefully on May 13 2008 in Grand Rapids where she had lived near family for the past five years. She was a daughter to John Eugene Harding and Edna Wilson. She was a sister to Janet Hagen sister in law to Richard H. Hagen Aunt to Sally Duane Swanson. Her family was one of the early families settling in the Ohio Valley prior to the civil war. Eugenia married Forrest McLaughlin but was widowed early. She continued her career at Armco Steel Corporation where she retired after more than 40 years. After retirement she married again to Robert F. Wilson moving to Washington D.C. Upon her husbands death she returned to the place she considered home Middletown Ohio. Eugenia is survived by her grand nephew Patrick Todd Arnold grand nieces Theresa Mead (Kevin) and Debra Couture two great grand nieces Shea Mead and Sarah Arnold two great grand nephews Patrick Shaun Arnold (Kristie Reyers) and Mathew Arnold. The family thanks Hospice Seth and Diana at Elders Helpers outpatient nurse Jan Marie and the people at Hearthstone for helping to provide a very good quality of life for Eugenia over the past 4 years. Services and burial will be held today in Eugenias Birthplace in Middletown Ohio.
