THORSBY- Frances Thorsby age 82 went to be with our Heavenly Father in the early morning on May 9 2008 after a short struggle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Morehead Kentucky to James and Jean (Mocabee) Caudill. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Deforest Thorsby; parents; three brothers Fred Clarence and Oscar; one sister Thelma Osborne. She is survived by her children Martha Jean (Thorsby) Pawl James C. Thorsby Carol M. (Thorsby) Glover and Sharon L. Thorsby; seven grandchildren Nathan Pawl Michelle (Pawl) Gallagher Gregory Alicia and Jahnna Glover Chelsi Kerley and Chad Ringstaff; four great-grandchildren Madeline and Jonathan Pawl Abagail and Reagan Gallagher. During her 82 years of life Frances choose a career in raising her four children. She enjoyed summers camping making jelly sewing and reading. She was a loving mother who instilled hard work integrity and will be sorely missed by her entire family. Her family will receive visitors on May 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m. May 14 at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E. with Rev. Craig Swanson from First Evangelical Covenant Church officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice of Holland Homes or First Evangelical Covenant Church Youth Ministries.
