VARGO JR., FRANK FREDERICK, age 71, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Penny; and daughter, Amy. He is survived by his fiancé, Carol Cardinal; his children, Rick (Robin), John (Lori); grandchildren, Abby, Amy and Lorelei; sister, Sandra Van Houten; niece, Terry Warren; Carol’s children, Michael (Lisa), Elizabeth (Julie); grandchildren, Autumn, April and Zander. Frank was a Kent County Sheriff for 32 years and a Naval Veteran during Vietnam. He was known by many and loved by all. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, Rev. Gary Burdick of First Congregational Church of Ada officiating.
