Geraldine Nauta, age 93 of Lowell, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; brother, Lyle Jackson: sisters, Phyllis Lavendar and Virginia Matthews; grandson, Andy Nauta. She is survived by her children, Vern (Gay) Nauta of Lowell, Nancy (Pastor Daniel) Gauw of Bella Vista, AK, Phillip (Lynn) Nauta of Lowell, Jim (Carol) Nauta of Pentwater, Mark (Becky) Nauta of Lowell, Debbie (Pastor Randy) Reed of Ishpeming, Steve (Brenda) Nauta of Belding; sister-in-law, Mabel Jackson; brother-in-law Rev. Jay Nauta; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell. Interment Alton Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m. at the Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to RBC Ministries, 3000 Kraft Ave SE, Grand Rapids MI 49512 or the charity of one’s choice.
