Helen Frances Brogger, of Grand Rapids, faithfully completed her 95th trip around the sun on May 28, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; and her brother, George Krupp, Jr. She is survived by her children, Ric (Sandi) Brogger, Laurie Joyce, Amy Brogger, Dan Brogger, Pat (Tom) Mester, and Mary Brogger; sister, Doris Thompson; grandchildren, Kelli Gunn, Kerry (Scott) Simmons, Ryan (Ester) Joyce, Lindsey (Steve) Bosserd, Adam, Jessica, and Skyler Brogger, Andrew, and Amy Mester; and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Meredith, Molly, Caden, Jillian; daughter-in-law, Vicky Brogger; son-in-law, John Joyce; as well as several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the Hampton Street neighbors who watched out for “Miss Helen” over the years. Private services were held. Family will meet with friends and relatives Sunday 3-6 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids MI 49546. Memorial contributions in Helen’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
