Jacob Casey Cooper, age 20 of Ada, passed away as a result of a motorcycle/traffic accident Wednesday, July 17, 2013. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Loretta Cooper, Helena Calfa, Wayne Rice. He was survived by his parents, John and Toni Lee Cooper; brother, Chuck Cooper; sisters, Corrine (Grant) Nagel, Amanda Cooper Ericson; girlfriend, Nicky Fountain; nieces and nephews, Catrina, Bobby, Cash & Max Cooper, Dylan, Edward and Grace Nagel; aunts and uncles, Maria Kuhar, Vincent (Deb) Calfa, Leonard Calfa, Anthony Calfa, Tina Calfa, Debbie (Tom) Dilley, Carol (Paul) LaPorte; also several cousins and many friends. Jacob was a graduate from Forest Hills Northern and a current student of Grand Rapids Community College. On a regular basis Jacob donated to Michigan Blood Bank for the last four years, he chose to be an organ donor for the Gift of Life Program. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association, creative artist, guitar player and motorcycle enthusiast. Jacob enjoyed life with friends, family, the companionship of dogs (his own and others), and lived life to the fullest. Memorial Service will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Road, Grand Rapids. Rev. James Walther Jr. officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
