KIRKWOOD – James D. Jim Kirkwood age 40 of Ada passed away suddenly December 25 2008. He is survived by his wife Ann; loving son Alex; parents Jack and Rita Kirkwood of West Olive; sisters Maureen Kirkwood and Molly Kirkwood (James Clarke); brother Joseph (Susan) Kirkwood; parents-in-law Kenneth and Amber Bailey; sister-in-law Sheila (Joseph) Wittenbach; grandmother-in-law Joyce Bailey; nieces and nephews Jack Culp Sam Madeline Zachary and Lucas Kirkwood Evan and Joshua Wittenbach. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Kenny Bailey. Jim was a 1986 Catholic Central graduate and also a graduate of Aquinas College. He was an avid tennis player who was an All City Tennis Player at Catholic Central High School. Jim was a loving husband father and son. He will be deeply missed by his close circle of friends; Jay Cathy Brian Anita David Sonya and many others. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at the Cathedral of St. Andrew 265 Sheldon SE Rev. Mark-David Janus CSP presiding. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Vigil service will be 7:00 PM. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd., SE.
