JARMAN – John Conley Jarman age 52 died of accidental injuries in his home town of Tifton Georgia August 10 2008. John was born and raised by his parents Bob and Betty Jarman in Grandville Michigan. John served honorably 22 years with the United States Navy. John is survived by his loving wife Rose (Peskin) and his two sons John Jr., and Matthew of Tifton Georgia. John’s father Robert preceded him in death. John is also survived by his mother Betty Jarman of Cascade Township Michigan; mother and father-in-law Delores and Michael Peskin of Hesperia Michigan; brother Robert (Lisa) Jarman of Nashville Tennessee; sisters Amy (Don) O’Keefe) of Rockford Michigan and Lynne (Robert) Johnson of Cascade Township Michigan; many in-laws aunts uncles nieces nephews and cousins. A Mass of Resurrection with Honor Guard took place August 12 2008 at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church in Tifton Georgia. Friends and family in Grand Rapids will receive visitors at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home 3980 Cascade Rd. SE on August 14 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed evening at 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered August 15 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Robert of Newminster Church 6477 Ada Dr. SE Rev. R. Louis Stasker presiding. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
