CLARK – John D. Clark 75 beloved husband of Patsy Sue cherished Dad to Russell (Judy) Clark and Susan Clark Denny; Buddy/Papa to Gabriel Denny Dane Clark Scott Denny Brad Clark and Lexie Clark passed away March 19 2009 at Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods. He was preceded in death by two of his children his parents and brother. John D. enjoyed the people with whom he worked and those he served in his insurance career. However his family was the primary focus of his life. He served as deacon and elder in churches in Dallas and Grand Rapids; Commander of the McDonald-Osmer Post 451 of the American Legion in Cascade; Commander of the Grand Rapids Power Squadron; Illustrious Leader of the Presidents Club and President/Treasurer of Club 24. A memorial service to celebrate John Ds going home will be held at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Calvary Church with Pastor Tom Couch officiating. Visitation 3-5 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. In lieu of flowers friends are invited to make a contribution to the Benevolent Fund of Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods 2100 Raybrook SE Grand Rapids MI 49546.
