Katherine Elaine Korhorn, age 78 of Ada, MI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Thursday, June 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold & June Engen; sisters, Shirley DenBoer, Patt Forberg; and brother, Ken Engen. Katherine is survived by her husband, G. Thomas Korhorn “Tom”; children, Dale (Kari) Korhorn, Wendy Korhorn; grandchildren, Lieutenant Travis (Martha) Korhorn, Payton Korhorn, Bailey Korhorn, Noah Korhorn; brother, Jim (Nancy) Engen; sister, Jan (Dale) Holloway; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick Forberg, Sue (John) Griffioen, Don (Joan) Korhorn, Jim (Mary) Korhorn, Mary (Tom) Sytsema; and many nieces and nephews. Katherine was very involved with Ada Bible Church, her Thrive Group, and Base Camp Mission, she also enjoyed volunteering at Ada Christian School when her kids were growing up. She was part of the first graduating class of Forest Hills Central in 1962. Katherine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandkids were the light of her life, always bringing a smile to her face.
