Laura Lynn Wood, age 57, of Sun City, Arizona, went to her heavenly home on December 13, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Anne Wood. She is survived by her children, Adriana Wood and Gabrielle Elston; brother, Tim Wood; sisters, Elizabeth (William) McCloskey, Beverely (Martin) Eubanks, and Donna (Steven) Bates; several nieces and nephews; grand-dogs, Rebel and Olivia; and special friends, Tyne Parisi and Salinah Stricklin. Laura was very strong in faith and in herself; she was always singing songs of joy; particularly during the Christmas holidays. She was an incredibly trendy fashionista, with an artistic eye that made her a creative decorator, and she had an endless love for the ever-majestic elephants. Her level of love and her genuine heart for others, are simply irreplaceable. She never turns away from a conversation, always willing to be a listening ear, always ready to lend you some advice. Her loving, kind, and playful nature could always put a smile on any child’s face, her daughters especially. She was a true romantic and will be forever loved, cherished, and remembered by those she left behind. A private burial has taken place and a celebration of her life will occur in the spring.

  1. I miss having you call me up always checking on me . I miss even you chewing me out. I keep looking at my phone to see if you called. I remember our last time on the phone. We were making plans when you came back here to live. Seeing as we were the two sisters at home we were going to go out a lot and shop or do lunches. You were even going to show me how to organize everything. That dream left with you. I know you wanted to go home . I know your well now in every way. I also know you are with Dad and Mom and with our Heavenly Father now. I’ll carry you in my heart till I see you again . I love you Laura even when you drove me nuts I love you sis. Bev
