Lloyd Gerald Ritzema

Lloyd Gerald Ritzema died on Sunday, September 25, 2016.  He was born to Neal and Magdelena Ritzema in Grand Rapids, MI on October 27, 1930.  He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Josephine; parents; sister, Lois; granddaughter, Katrin; and great-granddaughter, Brook. He is survived by his children, Mark (Annette) Ritzema, Dirk Ritzema, Roseanne (Eric) Grienke, Dion (Cathy) Ritzema, Ellen Ritzema, Angela (Tom) Hemingsen, Evan (Ruth) Ritzema, Maria (Dr. Rohan de Silva) Ritzema; grandchildren, Mark Neal (Abby) Ritzema, Michelle (Steve) deGroot; Kris Grienke, Anna (Corey) Wiley, Karl (Renee) Grienke; Aaron (Alecia) Ritzema, Benjamin (Kaylee) Ritzema, Hannah (Jesse) Droog, Kailey Hemingsen, Seth Hemingsen, Rebecca Ritzema, Richard Ritzema, Ryan Ritzema; great-grandchildren, Will and Lea deGroot, Silas Ritzema, Wesson Droog, and Oliver Ritzema. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, Michigan; the rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, September 29, 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 402 Amity St., Lowell, Michigan.
