Lutvo Ramic, age 61, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019. Lutvo loved his family and life. He entered this life in Bosnia, the former Yugoslavia. As a young boy, he developed an interest in collecting and technology. Driving a motorcycle, wearing Levi 501 jeans and Ray Ban sunglasses, he wooed the love of his life, Renata Pravina. With a deep devotion to family, determination and a courageous, positive, entrepreneurial spirit, he built a successful life and trucking business with his sons in Grand Rapids. All who had the honor to meet Lutvo would be enchanted by his sparkling eyes, warm smile and huge heart. He touched many on the highways and byways he traveled. Whether at home or on the road, Lutvo’s heart and love remained with his wife and sons whom he adored. Lutvo Ramic was proceeded in death by his father, Hivzija Ramic. He is survived by his wife, Renata Ramic; sons, Azur (Kelly Koning-Ramic) Ramic, Alen Ramic and Denis Ramic; his mother, Razija Ramic; sister, Amra (Admir) Selimovic; niece, Arnela; and nephew, Armin. Lutvo will be endlessly missed and always remembered by his family, the Pravina family and many lifelong and faithful friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 26, from 11 AM – 2 PM at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. A procession and burial service to Graceland Memorial Park will be held directly following visitation.
