Madeline M. Knapp, age 89 of Rogers City, passed away Friday morning March 5, 2021 at her home in Grand Rapids. The daughter of William and Jennie Buczkowski was born in Rogers City on May 10, 1931. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence R. Knapp of 66 years. Surviving is her son, Mark (Vicki) Knapp of Byron Center; two daughters, Mary Beth (Don) Olson, Carol Knapp of Grand Rapids; two grandchildren, Stephanie (John) Schultz, Matthew (Staci) Knapp, three step grandchildren, Brandon (Sarah) Wilson, BreeAnn Streng, Brooke (Luke) Sluiter; one great-grandchild, Asher Schultz; two step great grandchildren, Emily and Parker Wilson.

All my love to the family. I’ll always remember Mel as being a kind and gracious lady and thank her for our “chats” on the phone from time to time. Mel and Larry were very special people and will be sadly missed. I cherish the memories.
So glad she enjoyed the Christmas cards and called to thank me this year, it was nice to hear from her. RIP Aunt Mel — now you can join Uncle Larry and hopefully see my dad again! Thinking of all the family
