Maia Lucia Moore, 8 years old and a bright light in the world, passed away early morning on Monday, May 12, 2014. She is survived by her parents, Lorelei and Jeremy Moore, and big sister Elise and little brother Ray. Maia had hundreds of people that loved her and will miss her…too many to count or to name here. When she was only one year of age Maia had an aneurysm. This only made her powerful. With this aneurysm she transformed into the Maia many knew and loved. ..the Maia that loved to cuddle, the Maia who would never judge, the Maia who was so frail yet overcame so much more than any of us in her short life. Her suffering is at an end. Her life was art. It was beautiful, beautiful art. Funeral Services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd S.E., Grand Rapids.
