  7. As one of Tim’s friends growing up in Caledonia, I was incredibly fortunate to have known and been on the receiving end of Mrs. Heffner’s warmth and acceptance at a time when I needed it most. I can’t imagine a kinder human being, and I will forever treasure my memories of the days I spent with the Heffner family.

  15. I just wanted to send my love and support to you and your family during this tough time, Karen. I really enjoyed your mom’s vivacious personality. I know things got tough at the end and I pray that you all will be filled with the peace that passes all understanding. I admire the fact that your mom gave so much enthusiasm to people in need and she stayed strong and healthy for many years on her own. May her legacy live on.
    Hugs and condolences.
