Mary Lou Hill (Olguin)

Mary Lou Hill (Olguin), age 74 of Ada, MI formerly of Crestline, CA passed away peacefully and into the arms of the Lord on Friday, November 9, 2018, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Hill; her parents, Antonio and Anita Lopez; and grandson, Tanner Olguin. Mary Lou was very involved with her family and enjoyed gardening and cooking. She loved everyone, family, friend and stranger alike, and prayed for her family daily. She volunteered for five years at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans and was a member of Forest Hills Baptist Church. Mary Lou leaves behind and will be deeply missed by her loving family. She leaves behind a sister Josephina in Spain; niece, Melanie; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Dave and Doris Spence and Howie and Lois Heckler; children, Tony (Christina), Dan (Kim), Gabriel, Michelle, Todd Hill, Michelle (Billy) Griggs, Christine Estep (Lafe), Lisa (Merle) Hensley, James (Jennifer) Hill, Joseph Hill, Wendy (Michael) Hoving, Joanie Hill (Houston), Ricardo (Diane) Godinez, Gino Godinez and Monica Smith; 47 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is Friday, November 16 from 5-8 PM at  O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Funeral services will be held  12 Noon Saturday, November 17 at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 3900 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Rev. Jeff Burr officiating. Interment at Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island Illinois.
